Drake Joins Backstreet Boys For Surprise Performance Of ‘I Want It That Way’
Drake can officially scratch “being in a boy band” off of his bucket list.
Over the weekend the legendary boy band Backstreet Boys performed at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto. During their concert, the pop group, who wore all white fits, surprised the audience by bringing out Canadian native Drake to sing with them. The men performed the Backstreet Boys’ 1999 hit song “I Want It That Way.” At the end of the song, they all came together and took a bow for the screaming audience.

Before the performance started, Drake delivered a monologue off stage and jokingly claimed he was the sixth member of the Backstreet Boys. The “One Dance” rapper then walked onto the stage and the crowd went wild. He shared a story about a time he danced with his childhood crush at his bar mitzvah while “I Want It That Way” played in the background.
As you may already know, Backstreet Boys is a boy band that consists of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson. The group was formed in 1993 in Orlando, Florida and they rose to fame a few years later in 1996 with the release of their debut international self-titled album.
After they brought Drake out on stage, many fans rushed to Twitter to talk about the surprising moment.
