Serena Williams Beats Sister Venus at US Open: She’s the toughest player I’ve ever played.
Serena is 16-11 in their matches, including 9-5 in majors and 3-2 at the U.S. Open.
Serena has the potential to become the first player since Steffi Graf in 1988 to collect all four Grand Slam titles in a calendar year. And if she wins, that would be her fourth U.S. Open in a row, and seventh overall — she would equal Graf with 22 major championships, the most in the professional era and second-most ever behind Margaret Court’s 24.
A few celebrities were spotted in the stands at Arthur Ashe Stadium, taking in the match including: Gladys Knight, Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump, Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian, who is close friends with Serena. On Thursday, Serena will play unseeded Robert Vinci of Italy. [Associated Press, Instagram]

The only way Serena won is that Venus let her win. Did you see the part where Serena hit the ball to Venus and she just stood there? They should be (Called Out) for their (Shananigans)…#No Shade, Just Facts….#No Bueno
That’s not true. If you know tennis when they hit that ball it is coming at a high rate of speed. She didn’t hit it because she couldn’t move to get there fast enough. You are the only one thinking such negativity!!
