Basketball Wives: LA Will Return For Season 5!

Draya stopped filming toward the end of the season, announcing on social media that she had quit the show and would not return. Earlier this month, theJasmineBRAND.com reported exclusively that Draya was the only cast member who skipped this year’s reunion. During the reunion, Shaunie did allude to the fact that she’d like to make some casting changes. [Click here for the complete reunion spoiler alert].

While the show is sure to return, we hear that both Shaunie and Tami are still working with the network on a Basketball Wives: Houston spin-off. In an exclusive interview with theJasmineBRAND.com, Shaunie revealed:

We have a Houston cast that we put together. We haven’t sold it but it’s shopping right now….It’s a good cast so I hope the network likes it…

Shaunie also shared that Tami would be getting produce credit:

Tami [Roman] actually put the cast together and brought it to me so, if it’s in Houston, Ms. Tami will have producer credit. How ’bout that?

Basketball Wives: LA is produced by Shed Media. Executive producers for Shed Media are Pam Healey, Lisa Shannon, Sean Rankine, Mark Seliga and Amanda Scott. Shaunie O’Neal is an executive producer. Executive producers for VH1 are Susan Levison, Jill Holmes, Fernando Mills and Paula Aranda.
