(EXCLUSIVE) Lil Wayne & Birdman Hit With ANOTHER Lawsuit By London Music Company
The suit accused Lil Wayne and Birdman’s labels of failing to provide royalty statements and pay the money owed for the samples they used, along with 50% of the money made from public performances of their songs. However, they reached a settlement in which CM and YM would pay $313K upon execution of the deal.
Then earlier this month, the London music companies filed legal docs in NY Court explaining they want to register and enforce the settlement agreement in the U.S. because Lil Wayne and Birdman breached the deal by not paying the full amount they promised.
The music companies are demanding $149,412 owed on the settlement and they want to enforce the judgement to begin the process of collecting on their cash ASAP.
