Beyonce’s Teenage Boyfriend Talks Split: She needed someone like Jay Z to take her to the next level.
Lyndall says he understood this to mean not to get Beyoncé pregnant.
We shared our first kiss at a Brian McKnight concert when Bey was 13. She was a little southern belle. She was an awesome kisser. We would hang out and do normal boyfriend-girlfriend things, although I was never allowed to stay over.
On their relationship coming to an end, he says:
We were together for ten years. I saw the changes in her. She needed someone like Jay Z to take her to the next level. There’s no hard feelings.
He says that he knew early on, even at 12, Beyoncé was ‘no ordinary kid’.
She lived and breathed her career.
Lock also recalls the pair going to his high school prom:
Beyoncé came to my high-school prom with me. It was a great evening. She laughed and danced and told me, “Lyndall, it’s so great to be normal, to be a kid.”
While his story is included in Becoming Beyoncé, he chose to speak because
it would be best for me to tell my own story rather than let anyone else tell it for me.

And why is this guy talking about Beyonce again?…..#Lean Back Dude No One’s Checking For You…#Bye
I’m not sure if I see anything wrong with him speaking about her. He was with her for a decade, and after all, it was his life too. He’s done a two or three interviews over the years, but he’s not over-the-top. I have been happily married myself for almost ten years and have certainly talked about my first boyfriend more than three times. If my ex were famous, the story would be the same – “We had history and it was comprised of XYZ… ” What’s the big deal?
He is absolutely correct in telling his own story rather than have someone make one up. I guarantee the book will have something in it about them that is not true since it is unauthorized.
The guy is thirsty for attention..period!…
