(UPDATE) Tamar Braxton Rushed to Hospital, Still Makes Appearance On ‘Dancing With the Stars’
Not so good news for Tamar Braxton. Reportedly, the singer/reality TV star/co-host was rushed to the hospital and is in the ER, as of Monday evening. Her admittance to the hospital happened prior to the filming of Dancing With the Stars (DWTS), which is a live show. Since she was unable to attend tonight, she may be disqualified — similar to Kim Zolciak.
For the past two weeks, she’s been battling pneumonia, according to TMZ. According to the site, she was rehearsing for Monday night’s show and became extremely sick. DWTS sent out the following tweet about Braxton’s condition:
Join us in sending out positive thoughts for @TamarBraxtonHer. We will keep you updated on her condition. #DWTS

No further details have yet been released. Update #2:
Thankfully, Braxton managed to return from the hospital during the last 20 minutes of the show to compete with Nick Carter. The two danced to a cover of The Beatles’ “Hey Jude.” Had she not returned, she would have been eliminated due to the rules of the show. Now that’s dedication!
