Raven-Symoné & Lee Daniels Featured In Out 100
Meanwhile, Kehinde Wiley (left) and Lee Daniels (right) are also featured in Out Mag’s Out100. Wiley’s work is prominent in Lee Daniels’s Empire, seen hanging alongside Basquiats and a Monet in the Lyons mansion. He recently told TIME,
I get tons and tons of comments from people who knew nothing about my work and by virtue of this show, it’s starting to change the conversation.
On Daniels now becoming even more popular because of the Fox series, he states:
I’d been so used to living in my own world. But so many gay people and people of color have stopped me on the street and thanked me. This experience has humbled me.
