[Because] retouching is not going to go away in the fashion and beauty industry. It’s just not. It’s part of it. I did a whole episode on Top Model about retouching because I felt like it’s important for people to understand that that baby in the baby-food ad is retouched, and the grandma in the retirement ad is retouched, and the chair in the catalog of the furniture store is retouched. Everything is retouched. So I feel it’s not fair that the everyday person can’t retouch themselves when the whole world is retouched. With all of these apps, I know it’s not politically correct for me to say this, but I feel like, go for it. Because (everyone) else is!
