The 36-year-old singer welcomed her second son in November. An insider tells E! News, “Kelis has a healthy baby,” adding that she is ‘thrilled‘ about the new addition to her family. The details about Kelis’ newborn like name, exact birth date, have not yet been released.

As most of you know, Kelis’ first child, 6-year-old old Knight Jones, is with rapper Nas. And Knight is THRILLED about being a big brother. While promoting her new cook book, Kelis shared,

[Knight’s] really excited — like over the moon. He’s so excited, which is actually really cute.

While we originally added her to our Ovary Hustlin’ category this summer (when she performed at a NYC concert with a baby bump), Kelis shared that she “waited to start showing” before telling Knight the news “just so that he could actually understand.”
