It appears that the rumors are true — Safaree Samuels is lawyering up against his ex-girlfriend, Nicki Minaj. This week, the up and coming rapper explained the situation on The Breakfast Club, stating:

If you worked at a radio station for a year, then at the end of the year, you just got [makes cut motion] — you know what I’m saying? And you did the work and all of that and the station is still out doing they’re thing and making their bread.

Safaree says that while he does have credits on Minaj’s previous album, it’s not enough,

Your name on credits don’t mean nothing — we it comes to that paper work and contracts, that means nothing.
