(EXCLUSIVE) Source Denies Elise Neal Quit ‘Hollywood Divas’ Over Set Injury
They’ll be one less ‘Diva’ on the upcoming season of the hit TV One show, Hollywood Divas. According TMZ, Elise Neal has thrown up the deuces and has quit the show. Why? The actress claims that she was involved in an accident while filming for season 3, which has yet to air.
Specifically, she says that she was knocked on the head by a light fixture. According to the site, Elise alleges that they continued to film and attempted to act as if the accident never happened. She also says that the production company nor network have paid any of her medical bills. Our source, who works closely with the network, show and production, is denying this. In fact, theJasmineBRAND.com‘s source states,
this is completely untrue.
Hollywood Divas premiered in 2014. The show chronicles the lives of five African-American actresses. The series highlights the ups and downs of black actresses trying to navigate their career, family and relationships, while attempting to stay relevant in an unpredictable entertainment industry known for overlooking black talent. The premiere episode was the highest rated episode ever for a TV One show with 1.2 million viewers, and most watched episode for any show on the network. We’re still awaiting a comment from Elise Neal — Story developing.
