“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with the “Idol” judge — and new queen of Las Vegas — about her gone-viral Instagram post from earlier this week, where she went makeup-free after a workout and showed off her insanely toned abs.

She shared,

I have to stay in shape right now like when I go back to do the show in May… it’s a demanding show physically, so I have to stay in shape. If I go back and I’m not ready, it would be a bad thing — I can’t let the audience down.

The star also raved about guest judge Kelly Clarkson, who brought the house down with an emotional rendition of “Piece by Piece.”

Lopez gushed,

Jennifer went on about Kelly, who is due to give birth to a baby boy next week,

I felt so much for her because I remember being at that stage even though it was eight years ago for me I remember it like it was yesterday those last six, seven, eight weeks you feel so emotional and ready to pop like I want this to be over, I can’t wait to meet this baby!

Speaking of kids, Lopez’s twins Max and Emme just turned eight. The family celebrated the twins’ birthday at Disneyland.
