Tyrese Pissed At Chris Rock For Slamming Jada Pinkett-Smith: Shame on you!
Tyrese is not a fan of a few jokes made by Chris Rock last night at the Oscars. In particular the comedian’s shade toward Jada Pinkett-Smith doesn’t sit too well. Here’s a clip of Rock’s opening monologue, where he jokes about Jada. [Fast forward to the 0:50 mark]
Last night, the Fast & Furious actor posted an Instagram video, addressing his displeasure with Rock writing:
I didn’t watch – I didn’t – but online people are talking and someone posted the tasteless joke that Chris Rock did in his opening – Did you really use your STAGE to tear down and diminish one of the strongest most fearless black women IN this town as the world watched??? Jokes are just jokes right???? Not when someone is trying to affect change……… Not when someone is willing to put it ALL on the line to affect change for our daughters and sons of the future…….. Tyrese is trippin.Hes doing the same thing to Chris that he’s accusing him of doing to Jada.I think Chris did a damn good job.He could’ve spoke to Chris privately.We have to stop disrespecting each other in front of others.We are always demanding that others respect us.If we don’t respect us why should others?
Tyrese isn’t trippin at all in fact more black actors should be putting his black *** on blast. In 88 yrs. of the academy awards history only 14 blacks have won and when someone has the guts to not just talk about it but make a stand, the very people she is fighting for throw her under the bus. He is just trying to keep his sorry *** relevant.
I don’t know how much you know about Chris.But,most of his shows he puts America on blast.Chris took the job and represented for me.He kept the cause for an equal share on display all night.The reason I said Tyrese was trippin is because he scolded a black man and congratulated a white man in the same breath.He did the same thing to Chris that he said Christ was doing to Jada.

TYRESE IS STILL SALTY ABOUT HIS SONG NOT BEING PLAYED ON WHITE RADIO. ‘F’ THEM AND CHRIS DID A GREAT JOB……..JENNY JONES!!!
Chris Rock is never funny to me and I agree with Tyrese he was throwing a lot of shade to someone trying to make a difference. A lot of white A-list actors feel the same as Jada but people are too afraid to buck the industry for fear of being black-bald. He saw at least 15 black people out of what one hundred whites be for real. Of course he wouldn’t boycott when was the last movie he made worth watching. It is times when your livelihood and pocketbooks are at stake when you see what people are really made of and stand up for. I congratulate Jada for making a stand against the ongoing egregious act of the academy. Black people need to stand together and boycott their movies, hit them in their pockets where it hurts the most. Chris Rock you don’t tell jokes you are a joke.
I agree, it was a very harsh comment, however, it is true. The loudest person speaking is a person who has NEVER been nominated for an awards. We need to make better movies and we will not have that problem We could of made the room, spotlight, etc. Maybe not revenant or mad maxx. But we always claim its what folks will not “LET US DO” we can do whatever we want we choice to make think like a man, and how to be a player, and the life story of street hood number 30. Put real stories and substance in our work. ALL OF it and we will be recognized. A spanish person has won director of the year 3 years in a row. Will smith said himself he has never lost to a white guy when he was nominated. We need to do Better and we will get what is deserved. We need to boycott slave movies, but I see everyone lined up to REBOOT ROOTS…….

The Oscars have NEVER been fair. Chris was right when he said Hollywood is like a fraternity. Was the Martian Oscars worthy…. no. But think about this.. Leonardo DiCaprio got his first Oscar last night and Marissa Time has an Oscar for my cousin Vinny.
