theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, rapper Lil Jon is accused of refusing to pay his back taxes to the tune of $160K and now the State of Georgia is coming after the rapper’s property and assets to collect on the cash.
According to Fulton County records, the Georgia Department of Revenue accuses Lil Jon of owing them back taxes for the year 2007.
The original tax debt was $68,406 owed to the state, but with collection fees ($26K), interest ($64K) and other costs the amount has swelled to $159,798.54.
The department explains that the rapper/producer has failed to pay up despite their demands and they are on the hunt for Jon’s assets and property to possibly seize and sell off to collect on their money.
Lil Jon has been facing other financial troubles recently, being hit with multiple liens by home construction companies accusing the rapper of screwing them out of $22K+ in bills for work they did on his Georgia mansion.
