Mariah Carey: My staff didn’t quit. I fired them.
Mariah Carey is addressing reports that the majority of her staff threw up the deuces, quitting because of her new manager, Stella Bulochnikov. As previously reported, members of Mariah’s team, who had been with the mega star, had reportedly quit, not liking the direction that she’s taken in her career.
However, Mariah says that she actually fired her staff,
I dismissed a majority of my team because I discovered that they didn’t have my best interests at heart. My new team, including manager Stella Bulochnikov are the top of the line in the entertainment business and more importantly in my life and I am now much more financially successful and more organized than in the past.
According to Mariah, it was necessary to make changes and she felt it was essential to only have people around her who had her best interest. Mariah is also filming her new reality show with E!, which will feature her fiance:
My fiancé James Packer just came to visit me in Denmark. And he had no problem being on camera for the show with me…and we had a great time.
