Purple, was in the running for a Tony nod for Featured Actress in a Musical. However, Hudson did not receive one. She later tweeted (and deleted) this on Twitter.

Meanwhile, J.Hud isn’t the only one feeling a bit of shade. Lee Daniels isn’t necessarily happy with Hollywood either. This week, the famed ‘Empire’ creator hopped on Instagram, sharing his disdain with how Hollywood treats its black directors and writers. See his clip below.
