Bodyguard Fired By Kanye West Speaks Out: He’s the most self-absorbed person!
The bodyguard that Kanye West allegedly fired for no reason, is speaking out. According to multiple reports, 42-year-old Steve Stanulis was providing security services for Kanye and his wife, Kim Kardashian. However, he claims that he was fired by Ye on Monday for asking Kim a question about her Met Gala plans.
Steve, who is a former Staten Island policeman and Chippendale, says Ye was rude, barely spoke to him and never thanked him for his service. He told the Mail Online,
‘I don’t think he ever said two words to me. I would go to a restaurant with him and watch him to make sure nobody was bothering him. Not once was I offered a glass of water or a soda. That was never in his mindset. I work with Saudi royal family members, and when you sit with them and whatever they eat, you eat. They tip you and it’s great. But with this guy, you could be working with him for 17 hours and sitting in a restaurant with him.
He continues:
You would think he would say, “Hey you want something to drink?”, but it was nothing. It just blew my mind.
Steve, who has worked for other A-listers like Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, refers to Kanye as the ‘most self-absorbed person’ he’s ever met.
Also, contrary to other reports, Steve who is married with three children, denies he was ‘hitting on’ Kanye’s wife.
So what triggered him being fired?
He claims that he asked Kim if their plans to take a sports car to the Met Gala that evening had changed. This allegedly upset Kanye, who heard him as he walked past the doorway of their New York hotel suite.
