(EXCLUSIVE) Timbaland & Estranged Wife Divorce Turns Ugly: Exes Fight Over Kids, Personal Property

theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, music mogul, Timbaland, and his estranged wife Monique’s divorce has turned nasty quickly, with the producer headed to court pleading for time with his kids & his soon-to-be ex-wife demanding he not be allowed to take their kids too far away. In fact, Monique is even asking for help from the judge to help her retrieve personal items from the home she once shared with the music producer.

Here’s the latest: Recently, the music mogul filed an urgent motion to establish time-sharing with his kids during the divorce proceedings. Monique then fired back and filed docs demanding if her soon-to-be ex-husband is awarded time-sharing with their kids, then she wants the court to determine just how far he can travel with their children. She wants the judge to determine the parameters that Timbaland can go during his time-sharing.

Further, a motion to establish protocol and timing for retrieval of personal property located at their martial home was filed, meaning Monique wants a court order which lays out what time, when and how she goes about retrieving her personal items from the home she used to share with Timbaland. The judge is the case has yet to make a decision on the matter.

Here’s the backstory:

Back in October 2013, Monique Mosley slapped her husband Timbaland (real name Timothy Mosley) with divorce papers following 10 years together and 5 years of marriage. The couple share a daughter (who is a minor) together.

Monique demanded that the music mogul pay up child support for not only their kid but also her kid from another man. She explained that Timbaland had publicly and privately proclaimed the kid as his own, therefore he should pay up for both.

She also demanded alimony, life insurance, private school costs, vacations, summer camp and other expenses. Monique didn’t only want permanent alimony, but also a lump sum to be paid during the divorce proceedings. She pleaded with the court to award her attorney fees as well, claiming she was so broke she had to borrow money from a friend to hire a lawyer for the divorce.

However, almost a year later Monique dismissed her petition for divorce quietly. It appeared the couple had worked out their issues and reconciled due to the music mogul posting photos of them together on his social media.

Well, the reconciliation didn’t last too long with Monique heading back to court last June (2015) and slapped Timbaland with brand new divorce papers.

According to court records, Monique served her estranged husband with the divorce papers on July 28th (of last year). Timbaland blew off the case for months without showing up to court or responding to his estranged wife’s complaint.

Then shortly after, Monique went back to court demanding she be granted a default judgement in the divorce and have the judge award her the support she requested in her divorce filing. The judge in the case granted the default shortly after but then Timbaland finally showed up to court in September. The music mogul pleaded for the default to be vacated and the divorce proceedings to continue on in court.

The judge granted Timbaland’s request and vacated the default on October 8th, allowing the estranged couple to battle it out in court.
