Unglamorous Much? Sasha Obama Works At Seafood Restaurant

Sasha Obama is a regular teenager when it comes to how she spends her summer. The 15-year-old daughter of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, has a regular summer job in the food industry.
According to a new report, she is working the takeout window at a Martha’s Vineyard seafood restaurant called Nancy’s.
Sasha’s duties include working a cash register, busing tables and prepping the restaurant before it opens for lunch. A server who also works at the restaurant says,
She’s been working downstairs at takeout. We were wondering why there were six people helping this girl, but then we found out who it was.
As is customary, Sasha is surrounded by security — six Secret Service agents to be exact, who sit outside the restaurant, while she waits on tourists.
This week, photogs caught Sasha and a friend leaving work. When her shift ended, Sasha brought a tray of drinks out to her security contingent, got in the SUV and left.
Nancy’s is a favorite stop for the Obama’s. The Obamas reportedly are friends with Nancy’s owner Joe Moujabber.

I love this! Giving her some sense of normalcy within the extraordinary circumstances she finds herself in. I think they’ve done a great job with their girls.
