(EXCLUSIVE) T-Pain Hit With Massive Tax Lien
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, T-Pain is the latest celebrity to have tax drama. The singer/rapper/producer has refused to pay up on a $350k+ tax bill and now the IRS has filed a lien against the recording artist, demanding he pay up or they could seize any property or assets he owns to collect on their money.
According to official records, the artist was hit with a federal tax lien on July 15th. The IRS accuses T-Pain (real name Faheem Najm) of screwing them out of $358,895 in unpaid taxes.
Uncle Sam doesn’t play around when it comes to collecting their coins and the lien is the first step in the process of seizing assets and property to collect.
This isn’t the first tax issue for the rapper, the State of Georgia filed a lien last year in which they said he owed them over $32k in property taxes on his mansion in Roswell, Georgia.
