NBA Baller Dwight Howard Hospitalized
Late Sunday night, Dwight Howard was taken to a hospital after feeling ill on a plane headed to Atlanta. According to a new report, the 30-year-old Hawks player suffered from dehydration. He is being treated and was expected to be released from the hospital Monday.
He has recently been in China on a two week promotional tour with shoe manufacturer Peak.
Last week, they unveiled his DH2 shoe. On July 12th, Howard signed a three-year, $70.5 million contract with the Hawks. The eight-time NBA All-Star was named the league’s Defensive Player of the Year three straight seasons from 2008-09 to 2010-11. Howard has played 12 seasons with the Magic, Lakers and Rockets before joining the Hawks.
Update #2. Dwight Howard has been released from the hospital. Howard nor the team has yet to comment on his condition.
