Over the weekend, BET taped its annual ‘Hip Hop Awards‘ show at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, GA. Hosted by Snoop, performances included rapper T.I., who performed his politically-charged song “We Will Not”; Gucci Mane, who performed four songs; DJ Khaled and singer Betty Wright; rapper Desiigner; along with recorded freestyle sessions, known as The Cypher, featuring several artists including Lil Wayne and comedian Kevin Hart, who performed as his alter ego.
