Vanessa Bell Calloway & Shari Headley Relive ‘Coming To America’

Black don’t crack! Just ask actresses Shari Headley and Vanessa Bell Calloway who recently dressed up as their roles on the classic ‘Coming To America‘ movie. The pair appeared on the Steve Harvey Show dressed in costumes from the hit film. Steve Harvey dressed as Eddie Murhpy’s Akeem Joffer.

The romantic comedy was released in 1988 and was originally created by Eddie Murphy, who also starred in the lead role. The film also co-starred Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones, Shari Headley and John Amos.

Shari played Lisa McDowell, Cleo’s oldest daughter and Akeem’s love interest. Vanessa played Imani Izzi, Akeem’s arranged wife.
