theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, The Preachers co-host Jamal Bryant has settled the child support battle with his baby mama, with both reaching a deal to settle the lawsuit she filed. The child’s mother will have primary physical custody with the mega pastor and TV personality agreeing to only visitation with their child.

Here’s the latest: On November 3rd, Bryant and his baby mama reached an agreement and a consent final order and judgement was entered in the case.  Per the order, Bryant is determined to be the natural biological father of the child and is now legally recognized as the dad.

LaToya retained sole legal and physical custody and Bryant will be entitled to visitation with the child. He will pay child support for his kid, but the judge sealed the amount per Bryant’s request.

Bryant has been ordered to maintain medical, dental and vision insurance for the child and he will be responsible for the majority of the expenses not covered by insurance, along with life insurance for the child.

He will pay $13,500 for his baby mama’s attorney fees to be paid in 5 installments. The remaining terms of their agreement will be sealed from the public.

LaToya Odom

LaToya claimed that the pastor and TV personality was the father to her son born in 2015, named John Karston Bryant. She filed suit seeking primary physical and legal custody of their child.

The woman also wanted temporary and permanent child support from Bryant, requesting the judge to order him to pay monthly support while the case is pending.

According to her, Bryant already took a DNA test and it confirmed that he was the father. She claimed the pastor made voluntary child support payments since their son’s birth. LaToya also wanted him to pay her attorney fees.

Bryant responded to the suit, admitting he was the father and did make child support payments with the intention of amicably resolving all issues over their son.

However, he claimed that he ceased all contact with LaToya and stopped paying support due to her continued harassment and his desire to have the court decided. Bryant says he accepts all legal responsibility of his child.

LaToya returned to court pleading for the judge to award her temporary child support. She said that as an author she makes a modest income and is currently paying all of the child’s expenses including daily living expenses, child care and healthcare related expenses.

The woman said she is without the financial resources like Bryant, who is the founder of a Baltimore-area megachurch with more than 10,000 members and leads a flashy affluent lifestyle and is a wealthy man, reportedly having a multimillion dollar net worth.

She pointed out Bryant has multiple sources of income including book sales, television appearances, personal appearances and podcasts. She accuses him of living a flashy lifestyle when she – who shoulders all parenting responsibilities for the child – is a single mother who lives frugally.
