Kelis Hides Her Kids’ Identity on Social Media
Kelis is adamant about keeping her two son’s identify off social media. The 37-year-old singer and chef has a 7-year-old son named Knight (whom she shares with rapper Nas). She also has a one-year-old son named Shepherd; she has not revealed his father’s identity.

If you follow Kelis on social media, then you might have noticed that she never shows her children’s faces.

Recently, she was questioned as to why she doesn’t share her offspring on social media. She explained to one of her followers:
I don’t show them because they are treasures and not for sale. And these are my life choices and one day when they are old enough I will support them.

People steal photos all the time especially those of celebrities and they kids. This is what she means by “they are not for sale”. The fact that she doesn’t allow their face to be shown makes then more desirable to the media outlets.
