16 Arrested Over Kim Kardashian Robbery
16 People Arrested Over Kim K Robbery
French police arrested 16 people in raids Monday over the armed robbery of Kim Kardashian in Paris last year based on DNA found at the crime scene, according to a report.
Police swooped in the Paris region and the south of France following forensic work at the luxury Paris residence where the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was tied up and robbed of jewelry in October. A source says,
One of the DNA samples matched an individual known to police for robbery and criminal offenses, who is considered a major thug.
The source adds that investigators were able to put in place a surveillance operation and build up a picture of the criminal network behind the robbery. Money and documents were also seized in Monday’s raids.
As previously reported, armed and masked men wearing police uniforms broke into the residence in the chic Madeleine area of the capital where Kardashian and her entourage were staying during Paris Fashion Week.
She was tied up and locked her in the bathroom, while they fled with jewelry. At the time, Kim’s bodyguard Pascal Duvier was not at the scene because he was providing security for Kim’s sister Kourtney at a Paris nightclub.
Kardashian recounted the horrible experience in a promo for the new season of KUWTK.
