(EXCLUSIVE) Duane Martin Settles Legal Battle Over Illegally Airing Mayweather Fight
The company said they spent a substantial amount of money to advertise, market and transmit the Mayweather fight.
The company explained on September 12th, 2015, Duane allegedly specifically instructed his employees of Xen to unlawfully intercept and broadcast the fight and air it at the restaurant
J & J says as a result, the actor increased his profits for the night illegally. They demanded $10k in statutory damages for each violation, $100k for each willful violation and for Duane to cover their legal bills for having to sue him. The company also sought in excess of $170k in damages along with unspecified compensatory damages
