‘Being Mary Jane’ Actor B.J. Britt Snags Lead In ‘Behind Enemy Lines’

B.J. Britt has snagged the lead in Fox’s Behind Enemy Lines, a drama pilot loosely based on the 2001 movie. He will play Reggie Mitchella, a jaded former Marine and the weapons systems officer for Navy pilot Ziggy Rodriguez.

Behind Enemy Lines is a military thriller wherein a group of U.S. soldiers find themselves trapped behind enemy lines. The network describes it as a multiple-perspective narrative that

closely follows our soldiers on the ground and the officers and service men and women on a nearby aircraft carrier, along with intelligence officers in D.C. as they attempt to bring our heroes home safely and under the radar.

Britt currently co-stars on BET’s Being Mary Jane. He also starred on Season 2 of Lifetime’s series UnReal and has a recurring role on Fox’s Pitch.
