Matt Barnes: Gloria Govan Won’t Let Me See Our Kids Enough, Begs Judge To Change Custody

There’s a bit of co-parenting drama between Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan. The NBA baller and former Basketball Wives LA reality star share 8-year-old twin sons. According to a new report, Barnes has filed legal documents, pleading with a judge to overhaul their current custody arrangement.

Reportedly, there seems to be logistical issues surrounding how and when Barnes spends time with his children. Barnes is said to have offered to pay travel expenses for their kids, so that they can spend time with him while he is traveling during the NBA season. Meanwhile, Govan claims that at times, Barnes has unreasonable last-minute requests.

The former couple will report to court in April. Last October, Barnes spoke out publicly, venting that he had not been ‘allowed’ to see his sons in almost a month. Posting a photo of his children, he wrote:

It’s been nearly a month since I’ve been allowed to see you guys.. love & miss you guys to death, hope to see you soon!! Daddy loves you

And last September, Barnes didn’t call Govan out by name, but he did allude to the fact that he is upset with some type of financial arrangement that may be child or spousal support.  He wrote on social media:

I give you MORE than enough money per/month to maintain your life style & for you & those boys to have whatever you want & do whatever you want … Even after you showed the world your foul ways!! Now your telling me if I don’t pay an invoice I had absolutely nothing to do with, I can’t see my kinds…#DopeMom #choosewiselyfellas

He also posted a video, addressing the situation.

As you know, Gloria and Matt have split in 2014. Gloria is now dating former NBA coach Derek Fisher.
