Queen Latifah Launched A Floral Line
Business is booming for Queen Latifah. In addition to building credentials in front and behind the camera, the 47-year-old singer, songwriter and producer has a floral collection. Last year, Ahold USA announced an exclusive partnership with Queen Latifah on a floral line. The Queen Collection is a first-of-its-kind line of floral bouquets and plants designed by Queen Latifah, reflecting her iconic style with beautiful arrangements and premium quality flowers. Beginning last October, the line was available at the Ahold USA retail divisions of Stop & Shop, Giant Food of Landover, Giant Food Stores of Carlisle and Martin’s. Queen Latifah said of her venture,
I love flowers, giving them and receiving them, so when Ahold USA presented me with this incredible opportunity, I jumped at the chance to create my own floral line that is beautiful, and easily accessible at popular grocery stores, at affordable prices. I am extremely proud of the innovative designs we’ve created and the quality flowers that I have handpicked exclusively for The Queen Collection.
The Queen Collection features a number of arrangements, including eight floral bouquets and two orchids that have all been personally named by Queen Latifah. Each has been named based on the feeling it is meant to convey and evoke. The Queen Collection bouquets include the Passion Rose Bunch, Hope Bouquet, Unity Bouquet, and the Confidence Bouquet, to name a few. 100% of the flowers in the Queen Collection bouquets and arrangements are sustainably sourced from certified farms. The Queen Collection is offered at a range of price points starting at $10.88.
