(EXCLUSIVE) WE tv May Axe “Hustle & Soul”, Reality Show Hit With Cease & Desist
WE tv May Axe “Hustle & Soul” Show
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, WE tv may be canceling one of it’s new shows. A source alleges that it’s highly likely that ‘Hustle & Soul‘ will be axed. The non scripted series focuses on the owner and staff of Brooklyn’s Pink Tea Cup restaurant. Sources claim that the show allegedly faces some serious legal accusations that WEtv may not want to battle.
[They] might get canceled and/or pulled from its Thursday night slot due to a pending legal matter. Late last week, they were served with a Cease and Desist letter alleging that the show was infringing on some guy’s copyright. They were ordered to edit out the scenes that feature the pink tea cup logo. But that would seriously compromise the show.
Sources also claim that the show has had some lackluster ratings.
I’ve also heard rumblings around the office that the ratings have been a big disappointment. On top of this very serious legal matter, they’re now considering axing the show altogether.
No additional details have yet been released. Check out the teaser from the show below.
