Janet Jackson’s close friend and creative director — Gil Duldulao — is defending his friend.

Taking to social media, he posted a message stating that Janet would never want, need or accept $500 million from her estranged husband, Wissam. He also clarified that Janet had only been married 4 years, not 5 years, which has been reported. See his message below.
Gi’s comments reflect reports claiming that Janet may receive up to $500 million from their divorce settlement.
As previously reported, Janet and Wissam Al Mana have separated, months after welcoming their child, a son Eissa. Neither have commented publicly about their split. Recently, Wissam posted a message to Janet on his personal page.
