Rashida Ali (aka Rah Ali) is defending her relationship with Nicki Minaj, while opening up about ending her friendship with Remy Ma. This week, Nicki posted a photo with Rah celebrating her new business. The rapper captioned the photo:

Rah reposted the photo on her IG page and immediately was slammed by Remy Ma fans. Rah responded, posting a lengthy statement explaining that she and Remy fell-out during season 6 of Love & Hip Hop: NY. She also shares that she felt betrayed by Remy and maintains that she and Minaj began following each other on social media and connected long before Remy and Minaj’s rap beef.
