Michael Vick’s Father Charged w/ Dealing Heroin
Michael Vick’s father is one of 12 people charged in connection with a large-scale heroin distribution operation in Hampton Roads, according to a report. 55-year-old Michael Dwayne “Vick” Boddie was reportedly charged with dealing heroin and money laundering.
Per the indictment, from 2014 to 2017, the group conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 1000 grams or more of heroin. Additional charges include money laundering, maintain drug involved premises, use of a communication facility, and possession of a firearm during drug trafficking.
Boddie’s son Michael Vick retired from the NFL earlier this year, after 13 seasons scattered over 16 years. He has yet to comment on his father’s charges.
