EXCLUSIVE: “VH1 LIVE!” Hosted by Marc Lamont Hill Canceled
“VH1 Live” Canceled
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, VH1 has pulled the plug on VH1 LIVE!, a new late night talk show that was hosted by journalist and TV host, Marc Lamont Hill.
The show debuted last summer and was a weekly late night talk show featuring Hill’s take on pop culture, sports, and politics. With the audience and social media playing a major role in the conversation, Hill dished on pop culture with some of VH1’s biggest stars to get exclusive, behind-the-scenes buzz from VH1’s top rated shows.
“VH1 LIVE!” was produced by Embassy Row (“Watch What Happens Live,” “Talking Dead”), Nina L. Diaz, Trevor Rose, Jen McGovern and Tolani Holmes are executive producers for VH1.
No word on why VH1 canceled the show. Hill remains a staple on VH1 and has been snagged to host some of their reunion specials and other shows. An insider tells us that he’s currently in the running to join a new panel style daytime talk show that has not yet been finalized.
