André 3000 Joins New Sci-Fi Movie

André 3000 (real name Andre Lauren Benjamin) is heading to the big screen. The 42-year-old rapper will appear alongside Robert Pattinson and Mia Goth in an upcoming sci-fi film. Titled “High Life”, the film is directed by Claire Denis. It follows a group of convicts avoiding prison time by volunteering to take a voyage to a blackhole.

André 3000 is an rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor, best known for being part of hip hop duo Outkast alongside fellow rapper Big Boi. As an actor, Benjamin has made appearances in a number of TV series and films, including “Families”,” The Shield”, “Be Cool”, “Revolver”, “Semi-Pro”, “Four Brothers”, and the leading role of Jimi Hendrix in “All Is by My Side.”
