Tamar Braxton Is Retiring From Music To Protect Her Marriage

Tamar Braxton Explains Retirement
Earlier this month, we revealed that Tamar Braxton was officially retiring from music. Announcing the news on social media, she said that her current album, Blue Bird of Happiness, would be her last.
Fast forward to the present day and it appears that the reality star and singer is serious about retirement. She says,
There are a lot of things that I want to do, and a lot of things that are in the works. There’s a lot of things that are going on in my relationship and me being close to this music industry, and whatever I can do to eliminate all of the stress and problems off of my relationship, I would rather do that.
She continues,
My husband [music executive Vince Herbert] and I work very close together and it’s really hard, you know? Not only do we work together, he is my baby daddy and, you know, we’ve been together forever. He’s my best friend. It’s a lot of things to discuss and argue about.
Tamar, who shares a 4-year-old son Logan w/ Vince, says she’s ready to turn her focus to her family, noting that her marriage is the part of her life she sometimes let’s fall by the wayside. She says of singing,
This is just my job. When I go home, that’s my home. I always want to keep my home a sanctuary and somewhere safe. Not just for me, but for my husband and my kid.

On potentially expanding their family and having more children, she says:
I’m so mad at myself, because I wanted the Partridge Family and I didn’t know it until, you know, Logan got to be a certain age. I’m like, what? Yeah, I really want more kids. I would love to have at least five.
After the tour, she says there is also a possible return to daytime TV for Tamar, who was fired from the Real in 2016.
I miss it. I can’t wait to get back. That’s what I’m gonna say.

Tamar has a mouth on her, but she has always been like that. When they had their TV show, Vince was hateful a lot with Tamar, like he didn’t know that mouth came along with her. I know a lot of people will go in on Tamar, but Tamar has always been the same with that mouth and attitude and I am sure Vince is not easy to live with either.

I love Tamar and her family. The Mexican and the fat I mean Loni was throwing shade at her. why do they think they belong there and not Tamar they ain’t s*** Mexican thinks she’s better then the black women but her ass ain’t Lonnie just as ghetto as Tamar. Lonnie sometimes has a dead look when the girls are telling their stories that’s unprofessional and it doesn’t look good on TV
I wish I could find that episode of Tiny and Toya, where Tiny was trying to get Tamar to sing in her showcase and Tamar refused b/c of her home life. Tiny made the statement that they both wanted to be in the spot light but they both liked their situation at home- So, here retiring is no surprise to me. I hope she puts out a song every now and again.
I think big of Tamar to put her marriage/home first. She i sacrificing her career for her marriage. Many people down talk Tamar as if they peronally know her. However, the things her family and ex friends had to say are true. But the lies everyday people say about her using her husband is false. Tamar putting her home first proves she loves the hell out of Vince. My thing and disappointment is that Tamar knew what she was getting herself into when she got back in the spot light. It saddens me that Tamar didnt learn how to balance it all. Although Im sad that there will be no more music, im happy with Tamar decision because family comes first. Maybe now her relationship with her sisters will improve too. Wait ?? does that mean no more Braxtons family values and Tamar and Vince???
