In 2004, the singer and Jackson’s controversial performance changed the rules of the annual broadcasted sporting event. As you may or may not recall, their performance of Timberlake’s hit “Rock Your Body” – in which he pulled part of Jackson’s costume off, briefly revealing her pierced nipple. As a result, the Federal Communications Commission created a five-second broadcast delay during live performances was implemented.
