‘Men In Black’ Spinoff In The Works
“Men in Black” is returning for yet another sequel. According to reports, Sony Pictures has given the greenlight and the yet to be titled film will be released May 17, 2019. The script will reportedly be penned by Matt Holloway & Art Marcum.
According to reports, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will not reprise their roles. The plot will reportedly be a contemporary sci-fi about the black-clad secret force that protects earth from the alien scum of the universe, focusing on new characters chasing villains that put the picture on more of a global scale than the two previous films. The ambition is akin to the way that “Jurassic World” rebooted and expanded that franchise.
The film is being produced by Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald and executive produced by Steven Spielberg. No additional details about the project have been released.
