Niecy Nash Launches App to Focus on Love

Niecy Nash is the latest actress hopping in the tech game. The actress, who has been making fans all over the world laugh with her iconic performances in comedy hits such as Reno 911, Clean House and more recently as Desna Sims in the hit series Claws, recently announced that she is launching her very own free mobile app. The app, which is available for iOS or Android, will provide Nash the opportunity to discuss real life matters of the heart with her fans in addition to keeping them up to date on her daily life. To celebrate, the launch Niecy is going to offer a “Private Love Lunch” to a deserving app to user who will get one on one personal love advice while enjoying a fabulous meal in Beverly Hills. The mother of three says,

I’ve been balancing motherhood, work and relationships since my very first day in show business and along the way, I’ve learned a thing or two. With my new app, baby we will discuss it all –family, motherhood, work life, entertainment and all things love related, with humor and real take aways.

Nash got her big break in “Boys on the Side”, in a scene opposite Whoopi Goldberg. Since that auspicious debut, she has appeared in countless films and guest spots on television. But it was when she unveiled Raineesha Williams on the hugely successful Comedy Central series Reno 911 that the world first got to know the depth of comedic talent possessed by Ms. Nash. Since then, among other things, she’s hosted the Style Network show Clean House and received two Prime Time Emmy Award nominations for her work on HBO’s critically acclaimed comedy, Getting On.

Her current show Claws, in which she plays the lead, is about a group of women that work in a nail salon in Florida that are clawing their way through the challenges in life, and was just picked up for a second season on TNT. She also has a role in Alexander Payne’s upcoming film “Downsizing” which is opening this Christmas. Niecy is also the author of It’s Hard to Fight Naked, a book which brings all of her expertise to help people in their relationships.
