Growing Up Hip Hop: Miami Spin-Off On The Way
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, WE TV’s Growing Up Hip Hop franchise is expanding to Miami. The series began in New York and expanded earlier this year with a spin-off in Atlanta. The series is now heading to Miami. A source tells us,
The franchise is gaining momentum at this point and they’re ratings continue to grow impressively. It only makes sense to keep expanding.
As to why Miami was chosen, a source adds,
Miami has always had a competitive music scene. They have some of the top producer’s in the game. It’s just the perfect scene and so many legends came out of Miami.
As for casting possibilities, we’re told that they have their eye one of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ son’s; one of DJ Khaled’s artists; Fat Joe’s son Ryan Cartagena; along with one of Uncle Luke’s daughters.
Sources tell us that the cast is not finalized and there may be some changes.
Growing Up Hip Hop premiered in 2016, and chronicles the lives of the children of hip hop legends. Its success has led to the creation of a spin-off Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta. The series is executive produced by Datari Turner and Tara Long and is produced by Datari Turner Productions in conjunction with eOne.
