EXCLUSIVE: Usher Stalker Threatens To Sue Singer For $80 Million!
Usher Stalker Threatens To Sue Singer For $80 Million
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, the legal drama continues between Usher Raymond and his alleged stalker, Darshelle Jones.
Here’s the latest: The woman has made a new filing in the criminal case, penning a handwritten letter in which she claims that she plans to the sue the singer. Jones, who in 2016 was found not competent to stand trial, penned a six page letter. In one part of the letter she writes,
I would like to file a lawsuit against Usher Raymond IV for $80,000,000.00 for libel, slandering my name, ruining my reputation and defamation of character, including pain and suffering in relation to wrongful incarceration.
She also goes on to say that she was not aware of the stalking order and only violated it because she wasn’t aware of it. In another part of the letter she writes,
I had no ill intent when I was outside and across the street from the recording studio. I wanted to acquire a quote for myself to complete my assignment for Usher’s master class, in which I was a student.
Here’s the backstory: Darshelle Jones has caused trouble for the singer for years. In the past, she was arrested in Atlanta after showing up to a record studio where he was recording.
The woman was allegedly across the street trying to record him with an iPad, which was a violation of a previous restraining order the singer was granted. Darshelle has been hit with numerous restraining orders over the years and has been ordered to stay 100+ feet away from Usher and his family. She was booked for aggravated stalking and is facing up to 10 years in jail. Darshelle was awaiting her trial, when the judge came back and ordered Darshelle not competent to stand trial at the time. He ordered more tests to be done to see if she would be able to at a later time.
