Tank Asks The Rock For A Role In Spin-off

Tank is shooting his professional shot. The singer, who was in the R&B trio TGT with Tyrese Gibson, wants a role in Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s new Fast & Furious spin-off. Recently, he posted a shirtless photo of himself, showing off his killer physique. He captioned the photo,

Somebody tell @therock that I’m ready for the #Hobbs movie RIGHT NOW!! Cast a real SAVAGE! Thanks for your consideration!.. #SAVAGEALBUM OUT NOW! LINK IN MY BIO.. p.s. I’ll let you guys cook up the beef while I just focus on expanding my horizons as an actor! There’s enough room for all us contrary to what you believe!..

The Rock responded to Tank’s post, writing:

We see u brother @theRealTank. Iron beast! Its been very cool to see so many texting me to join our spinoff and have fun. #HobbShaw.

Tank responded to The Rock’s response, writing:

Having a real fan moment at the moment guys! @therock spoke on my request! If it goes no further than this God I’m thankful..??. Blessing to you brother..?? #HobbsShaw

Tyrese has yet to comment on Tank sharing his interest in The Rock’s upcoming film. As previously reported, The Rock’s highly anticipated Universal film, which will also star Jason Statham, will reportedly be released, July 26, 2019. Because of the spin-off, “Fast & Furious 9” has been pushed back to 2020. Chris Morgan is reportedly now writing the spinoff that will focus on Luke Hobbs, the Diplomatic Security Service agent played by Johnson, and Deckard Shaw, an assassin character who was one of the primary bad guys in the franchise before being redeemed and joining the motley crew of antiheroes that make up the roll call.

Sources say that one reason for Fast 9’s delay was to accommodate potential director scheduling. Sources also say Justin Lin may be lining up to return to the franchise and is the top man to helm the core entry of Fast 9.
