Erica Ash To Star In BET’s Legal Drama ‘In Contempt’
Erica Ash will star in BET’s new legal drama, In Contempt. The Viacom-owned cable network has confirmed a 10-episode order, created by Terri Kopp, who is also the showrunner.
The procedural is in the fast-paced world of a legal aid office in New York City and follows Gwen Sullivan (Ash), an opinionated attorney whose passion for her job and clients make her arguably the most talented public defender in her district.
Ash is fresh off her breakout starring role on Starz comedy Survivor’s Remorse, which was canceled after four seasons. She has also appeared on BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood.

It will be interesting to see her do something different. At times, her character was very annoying on Survivor’s Remorse.
OMG!!! She used to get on my nerves on that damn show! Her Boston accent was a bit much for me to handle and she did too damn much sometimes.
I like her acting. Good for her.
