Oprah Donates $5 Million to Middle School
The giving continues for Oprah Winfrey. On Friday, she was spotted celebrating the Ron Clark Academy’s tenth anniversary, a nonprofit middle school in Atlanta.
The media mogul, who is known for own work in education, gave an impressive $5 million to the school.
She said of her attendance,
The reason why I am here, I’m giving up my time for free to be here – to support them – is to say, ‘Bravo, keep doing it’. Because there is not a better school, organization, institution in the USA.
Sweet!
