Tank Calls Out Eva Marcille For Meek Mill Voting Post: Just because your boyfriend is running for office!
Tank Calls Eva Marcille
Tank is not a fan of a recent social media post shared by model/actress Eva Marcille. Eva recently posted a meme featuring Kevin Hart that read,
When they posting FREE MEEK MILL but won’t go out and vote for the new district attorney.
Eva, whose boyfriend was running for Atlanta mayor, captioned the post with
Today is Election Day for local elections and judges are on the ballot…. do your part!!
Tank wasn’t necessarily a fan of the post, suggesting that it was a stretch to say that voting had much of a correlation to Meek Mill’s current legal situation. [FYI: This week, Meek was sentenced to 2 to 4 years for violating his probation.]
Tank responded with a video on social media, stating:
Let me clear this, ‘Free Meek’. We’re allowed to feel that way. We’re allowed to post that. And saying that if we had voted, Meek would be free using that thing to correlate the other thing – it just doesn’t make sense. Because we also have to ask ourselves on the other hand, was it justified?
He continued,
We don’t understand the nuances of his case. So the two don’t really go together. All I can say is, I don’t want the brother to do time. We’re allowed to feel that way. Saying, ‘You should go vote and that’s going to make the difference?’ Just because your boyfriend is running for office? Uhhhh, that’s a tall stretch. Are we being victimized by the system? Are we being targeted by the system? Absolutely. But we do sometimes have to start at the beginning. Let’s not get in front of these judges in the first place.
See the clip.
Do you agree or disagree with Tank’s response to Eva’s message about voting?

She is absolutely correct in what she said and he is talking in circles!
Why post anything that would negate her message that encourages people to vote?
She’s not wrong. A lot of people don’t focus on elections for judges and DAs. It appears that Meek did this to himself, but the judge was on the ballot yesterday in Philly. So, folks had the opportunity to impact this going forward. And I can’t stand when ppl act like women’s opinions aren’t original thoughts, but rather extensions of their boyfriend’s politics. I wonder if Tank votes?
Betcha he didnt vote
Kudos Eva!
