Today, Aretha Franklin began trending on social media, when it was rumored that she was deathly ill. Fameolous reported that the legendary singer was in the hospital and things were looking grim. However, entertainment reporter Shaun Robinson gave an update denying these claims. Robinson stated,

Good Morning, Everyone. I just spoke to one of Ms. Franklin’s family friends in my hometown of Detroit.

She continued,

They spoke to Aretha moments ago and asked me to tell you please don’t believe this news that was trending. Have a good day.

Franklin’s camp has yet to release a direct statement.
