Wendy Williams: Patti LaBelle Is WRONG For Telling The World Luther Vandross Was Gay!
Wendy Williams Disagrees w/ Patti LaBelle Outing Luther Vandross
Wendy Williams says that Patti LaBelle was 100% wrong for recently discussing Luther Vandross’ sexuality. As previously reported, earlier this week, LaBelle commented on why she felt the late singer never revealed publicly that he was gay. She stated,
Basically, he did not want his mother to be — although she might have known, but he wasn’t going to come out and say this to the world.

LaBelle also suggested that the news may have affected Vandross’ female fans.
He had a lot of lady fans and he told me he just didn’t want to upset the world.
Wendy weighed in on Patti’s remarks, saying that she should NOT have commented. The talk show host says,
She should have said ‘no comment’. If he had asked me something like that, then – it’s okay for me to talk about it. I didn’t know Luther Vandross.
She continued,
He wasn’t my friend. But, it’s not okay to talk about it when it’s your best friend. You know? It’s like a violation.

I’m not defending Wendy because i am not a Wendy fan but she wasn’t talking about Luther, she was talking about Pattie telling the world that he was gay. Regardless what people assumed, he never came out and said he was gay but confided in big mouth Pattie. I like Pattie Labelle too and i also liked Lady Marmalade put i have saw how mean Pattie can be when she didn’t want to give the gay guy his props and credit for putting those nasty over processed sweet potato pies at Walmart on the map .
Girl, you are dead on! I’m almost 70 and I know I say what I want to say! Yes, we all knew Luther was gay and it didn’t matter. I will ALWAYS be a Luther fan. Check your husband Wendy, NOT Miss Patti!!! How you still doin’!!!

Wendy needs to keep HER mouth shut. I could respect this if it weren’t coming from WENDY WILLIAMS.
I haven’t forgot how she talked about Method Man’s wife having cancer, which is something he wanted to keep private and her own family and friends and neighbors next door didn’t even know about it! But Williams dug it up and made it public over the radio. Even said the man was having an affair with his wife’s doctor!
Don’t shame someone’s actions if you yourself have done far worse.
