50 Cent, Starz Extend Deal To 2019
Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson’s relationship with Starz continues. This week, the premium network extended their overall deal with the Power actor and executive producer until 2019. 50 says,
Continuing my partnership with Starz and Lionsgate is important to me. I have a personal connection to each project I bring to them. I’m able to deliver shows that have unique stories that can be told on premium cable television.
The agreement adds two more years to the two-year deal he and the outlet struck in September 2015. The rapper and mogul will continue on both sides of the camera. According to reports, his G-Unit Film & Television will also be developing new projects for Starz such as crime and music industry drama Black Mafia Family and Tomorrow, Today. He is also said to be prepping a third untitled project Tucker Tooley and Christian Gudegast.
