Seal Under Criminal Investigation For Sexual Battery

Not so good news for Seal. The 54-year-old singer is reportedly under criminal investigation for sexual battery. However, he denies any wrongdoing.

An actress named Tracey Birdsall is making claims against Seal, alleging that an incident happened between the two in 2016. She says the two were neighbors and were close friends, until an incident happened at his home. She said that while over his home, the singer attempted to force himself on her. She says at the time, they were in his kitchen, when he allegedly lunged at her. Tracey says she shouted at him,

What are you doing?!

She says that Seal replied,

I’m kissing you!

She claims Seal responded belittling her for what she was wearing, alluding to the fact that she asked for it, by her attire – she was wearing a tank and shorts. She alleges he groped her breasts and she told him to stop.

She says that Seal then invited her to sit on the couch next to him and she complied because she was in shock. She says that once again, Seal began to make fun of what she was wearing and groped her again. Tracey says she left shortly after that and did not have contact with Seal again.

Tracey says that she decided to speak out, after seeing Seal’s comments about Oprah and Harvey Weinstein.

A rep for Seal has released the following statement,

Seal vehemently denies the recent allegations made against him by a former neighbor for alleged misconduct more than a year ago. He intends to vigorously defend himself against these false allegations.

Last week, Seal made headlines after some suggested he was criticizing Oprah over her affiliation with Weinstein. He has since spoken out, denying this and also blasting Stacey Dash.
